36 Days of Type
36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to express their particular view on letters and numbers of our alphabet.
For my first year in taking part in this challenge I wanted to explore Motion Design & Kinetic Typography. Throughout the process I explored various ways of distorting letters, animating them to give the letter forms a sense of character or personality trait.
The process for this project involved having to design a letter each day, in my case an animation where I would try to learn implement a new technique. I was also able to see how other designers across the world were putting their own styles into the project. It was an overall inspiring experience and project to be involved with and strongly connected me to the world design community.
